Am I Dreaming?

Day3 at the Fort Lauderdale residence & I'm feeling super pressed for Miami Carnival but things are looking quite shakey. I find myself not really depending but more so relying on other people. I wish it was as simple as I can just say to hell with everyone and do everything on my own but this is real life and as unfortunate as it may be at times, we all need someone sometime. I realize however that my success is in my hands and so is everything else initially. Time management and planning play a major role in the life that I am developing for myself. I must become a robot and learn to multi task on a level I never thought psossible. Many people in life will support your dream and success but no one is gonna bust their ass as much as you or invest as much as you to accomplish your ultimate goal. We have our own individual lives and dreams to accomplish so it's impossible to put as much energy into someone else's as much as your own.

Many refer to themselves as singers, rappers, dancers, painters , and then there are artists. Artists are like chamelions because we are able to adapt to any situation. We are able to paint a picture of happiness even in our darkest hours. As an artist, as a human, emotions are important. Having ups and downs in relationships whether it be with your significant other, a friend, or family member, having emotions allows you to learn who you are and how you react to situations. It allows you to know what &who affects you, and most importantly why! I don't look down upon those who allow people to "walk all over them" or those who keep giving "chances". Why? We are all different and all channel and handle our emotions differently. Over the years I have learned that when it comes to relationships, you can give your opinion but don't expect that person to agree right away or at all sometimes.

I think back to so many relationships that have came and went. Some I miss, some seem as if they were never even a factor. Questions arise if some people were ever really your "friends" and did some people really ever "love" you. Is this life really full of just moments and memories that we must embrace for it's time and then move forward. It is obvious that nothing is forever. We live for an unpredicatable period of time, we love for an unpredictable period of time, and they both die at an unpredictable time.

With that said, with the unpredictable amount of time I have left here I am going to go all out to do everything I ever dreamed of. Embrace the moments I share with special people and know that it isn't forever but that I am human so letting go will almost NEVER be easy; but know that it is time to let go when you feel as if you are holding onto nothing. The only thing I hold onto is my goals. We must understand that all dreams are not important. When you go to sleep, you have a dream EVERY night eventhough sometimes when you rise you can hardly remember them, or sometimes can't remember that at all. But the ones that we can r call we may look into a little deeper or share with someone else if we think it is worth it. I treat my dreams that I have while I'm awake the same.

Understand that maturity doesn't come with age but more so with the experiences we have in life, and what we learn from them. So when I drop my project which I am now thinking of titling "The Glow Effect" my maturity will shine through because I have been through quite a lot and overcame a lot. I want to share it with you all, I hope you are ready! :)

Catching Up

Wassup people, Glow on el check in! It was raining cats and dogs in NYC this morning and I had an early flight, as in 6:30am early! I never experienced such turbulence, I can't front I was shook! Lol. I am here at my Fort Lauderdale home with my family for the official house warming party! As the 7th hits I will be in Miami for carnival :)! I just completed my 1st semester at ASA college and I must say the stress and lack of sleep was all worth it because I have an A average ! I have dropped BMF, Hard In The Paint, All I Do Is Win, Airplanes & I'm Raw Freestyles over the last few weeks and the feedback is incredible! This vacation will allow me to break away from the stress I have been enduring back in NYC and take that stress and put it into lyrics.

One thing I have learned is that friends can become foes when money is involved. Don't expect sympathy or a helping hand from anyone, even the ones you "know will hold you down".

As the days go by I feel success is so near. I went to Barbados two weekends ago and the experience was incredible. I learned so much about myself and about others that are close to me all from that trip. I won some new awesome people into my life and was forced to distance myself from some that were already there. I again met the man I adore, Young Money artist Tyga! He is an awesome individual and performer and it will be epic when we work together in the future, stay tuned for that!
