Day3 at the Fort Lauderdale residence & I'm feeling super pressed for Miami Carnival but things are looking quite shakey. I find myself not really depending but more so relying on other people. I wish it was as simple as I can just say to hell with everyone and do everything on my own but this is real life and as unfortunate as it may be at times, we all need someone sometime. I realize however that my success is in my hands and so is everything else initially. Time management and planning play a major role in the life that I am developing for myself. I must become a robot and learn to multi task on a level I never thought psossible. Many people in life will support your dream and success but no one is gonna bust their ass as much as you or invest as much as you to accomplish your ultimate goal. We have our own individual lives and dreams to accomplish so it's impossible to put as much energy into someone else's as much as your own.
Many refer to themselves as singers, rappers, dancers, painters , and then there are artists. Artists are like chamelions because we are able to adapt to any situation. We are able to paint a picture of happiness even in our darkest hours. As an artist, as a human, emotions are important. Having ups and downs in relationships whether it be with your significant other, a friend, or family member, having emotions allows you to learn who you are and how you react to situations. It allows you to know what &who affects you, and most importantly why! I don't look down upon those who allow people to "walk all over them" or those who keep giving "chances". Why? We are all different and all channel and handle our emotions differently. Over the years I have learned that when it comes to relationships, you can give your opinion but don't expect that person to agree right away or at all sometimes.
I think back to so many relationships that have came and went. Some I miss, some seem as if they were never even a factor. Questions arise if some people were ever really your "friends" and did some people really ever "love" you. Is this life really full of just moments and memories that we must embrace for it's time and then move forward. It is obvious that nothing is forever. We live for an unpredicatable period of time, we love for an unpredictable period of time, and they both die at an unpredictable time.
With that said, with the unpredictable amount of time I have left here I am going to go all out to do everything I ever dreamed of. Embrace the moments I share with special people and know that it isn't forever but that I am human so letting go will almost NEVER be easy; but know that it is time to let go when you feel as if you are holding onto nothing. The only thing I hold onto is my goals. We must understand that all dreams are not important. When you go to sleep, you have a dream EVERY night eventhough sometimes when you rise you can hardly remember them, or sometimes can't remember that at all. But the ones that we can r call we may look into a little deeper or share with someone else if we think it is worth it. I treat my dreams that I have while I'm awake the same.
Understand that maturity doesn't come with age but more so with the experiences we have in life, and what we learn from them. So when I drop my project which I am now thinking of titling "The Glow Effect" my maturity will shine through because I have been through quite a lot and overcame a lot. I want to share it with you all, I hope you are ready! :)

Catching Up
Wassup people, Glow on el check in! It was raining cats and dogs in NYC this morning and I had an early flight, as in 6:30am early! I never experienced such turbulence, I can't front I was shook! Lol. I am here at my Fort Lauderdale home with my family for the official house warming party! As the 7th hits I will be in Miami for carnival :)! I just completed my 1st semester at ASA college and I must say the stress and lack of sleep was all worth it because I have an A average ! I have dropped BMF, Hard In The Paint, All I Do Is Win, Airplanes & I'm Raw Freestyles over the last few weeks and the feedback is incredible! This vacation will allow me to break away from the stress I have been enduring back in NYC and take that stress and put it into lyrics.

Glow's Home!
I been gone for a minute but now I'm back! I mean I wouldn't call it me slacking because please believe I have been working in my absence. I have dropped a number of tracks since my last post and you can check those out at www.reverbnation.com/GabbichkaGlow . I finally did my first photo shoot in Dumbo, Brooklyn and it was awesome. I was styled by Irma Barrera, Make-up by Wongy Doe, Photography by Christopher Soto-Chimelis and Nick Kaufman. Things are really starting to come into perspective for your favorite underground artist! I went to LA in July and did some networking and met my inspiration and the man I plan to love for the rest of my days Tyga of Young Money and will see him again in Barbados this month actually next week! So definitely stay tuned for pics from my vacation because there will be a photo and video shoot done while I am out there! I old yall I was working! Easier Said Than Done

Yeah so I'm in a bad mood. For starters I have no hot water in this apartment and the studio I was supposed to record at this evening today flopped! I absolutely hate when people screw with my time. I take my music very seriously and I have NO time to waste! Anyways, on the up side of things, my 1st single "Byee Boyy" will be featured on a mixtape where the bonus track came directly from MC Lite herself! More info on that when it's able for download in May.
Today's Topic : "How to pick em'.. Easier said than done"
I want to talk about all these dudes referring to themselves as "bosses, fly,Gods" ect. Then these females that refer to themselves as "barbies, divas, bossettes" ect. It's getting entirely out of hand! Growing up I remember people always wanting to date the person with the newest sneakers and clothes, who had "all the money", but that's when I was growing up! Well, now that I'm "grown" I see that a lot of people's mentality on what it means to be "on top" has traveled back in time. I remember talking to you all about focusing first on your needs and then on your wants. People don't get me wrong now! We all want that good looking, well dressed, "getting money" person by our side. However, a lot of us don't look for anything beyond that. We don't think for the future. Hell, sometimes we don't even think with our hearts. People have totally canceled out the "getting to know each other" factor out of dating. All we see when we look at each other these days are a "come up".
Ladies we wonder why these guys act as though they are above us and don't care about our feelings, well it's because we never give them a chance to. We automatically think that they are worthy of our trust, time, love because of a few kind words from him and because he's "that n*gga" in the hood. Fellas you wonder why you feel as though you can't trust any of these girls these days, it's because a lot of you are either going around looking for just a "bad bitch" or the same thing we are looking for, perfection. This perfection is only that in everyone's eyes but our own. I'm just saying people if we put a little more time and effort into first off thinking about what we need and deserve in a relationship then take the time to get to know someone and see if they have potential to fill those needs then there will be a lot less unhappy humans :). I'm sorry but you aint bossing shit just because you have some Louis & Gucci, threw a few parties, ran a few scams, got a fat ass, or a good weave. You're not doing anything the average person can't do. A real boss in my eyes does something that people can look up to, take notes from, that can possibly become history in some form. A boss does'nt work just for their success to be something that is just for the "moment". A real boss doesn't work solely to show off and make other people feel low. I'm not hating on anyone's way of life. If you are content living simple then by all means continue. But I am saying not to get too comfortable. There should always be a fall back option!

Now every year I say ima be a rapper/well talk is cheap and I aint no fu*king actor/So ima take my time so I can master/what a lot of yall fools have made into a disaster/I'm after all the recognition/From the greats who have made it and conquered my mission/gonna take a few right and wrong decisions/but ima catch whatever balls that this game is pitching/point the haters out middle finger upright/used to be the homie now you acting all uptight/this is real life n*gga no twilight/im addicted to the music you addicted to the limelight/nobodys gonn up and live my dreams/so "I" had to be the first letter in my team/every human aint as real as they seem/just barbies and kens so easily pretend-ing...

Freestyles & Insomnia ! Listen In !

Is it me or does almost everyone suffer from insomnia these days? Seriously all these social networks, micro-blogging sites, and sitcoms on Nick At Nite are to blame lol. Im up thinking about music as usual! I just uploaded my "Get'n Money Freestyle", "There They Go Snippet" & "Roger That Freestyle" to my YouTube channel which I will invite you all to really soon! What About Your Friends ?

So i called my school this morning and of course they still "didn't receive the payment". Then my sister comes home and she has a really thin envelope in her hand which I thought was possibly my money order returned! So i grabbed it out of her hand, it came from my school. Inside was a receipt for $675.00 -__-. Do I have all rights to call and raise a little hell tomorrow? Lol, I won't though. I'm just going to be happy I didn't really lose that money!
Anyways...
Today I would like to discuss friendship. Well, arguments within a "clique" to be specific! We all go through it! I know I do! This whole friendship thing is just like a relationship between lovers, it's going to have good times and bad times, make-ups & break-ups, & maybe even some fights. But when do you know that it's time to really call it quits in that "friendship" or at least keep your distance?
I personally feel it is time to let go when you have to question EVERYTHING that you say or do around that person; what or who you bring around that person; If you find yourself judging your "friend", all of a sudden feeling as though they are just another person beneath you, there is definitely a problem!
One of the biggest issues in friendships is what I would like to label as "Snaking"! Snaking is basically doing things to hurt someone, or to make them look or feel bad in a subliminal way or just simply behind their back. When you catch yourself doing "snake" sh*t to your "friend" that you and your friend would usually do to them people "yall dont fu*k with". Um, it's over! We are all human and make mistakes, that's where the act of forgiveness comes into play. But um, let me tell you something, just like everything else in life there's gotta be a limit on this forgiveness sh*t doe! Look if you of a certain age, been through stuff and overcame em with your friends and you're STILL doing the same sh*t I forgave your for (counts 1 2 3 4) years ago.. WE COULD NEVER BE FRIENDS!! Lol. Once you know your friend has snaked you and it was some premeditated sh*t, trust that it will be hard to forgive and you will never forget! Please believe this is a post that goes out to both males & females cause I see yall with the weak ass "twitarguments" & bbm statuses. When you take your arguments with your friends public doe... it has officially gone to far and possibly hit rock bottom!
My real friends. Keep it real with me. Period! My real friends don't entertain or play into the drama. They attempt to mediate. My real friends don't call everyone their "friend, sister, bestie". My real friends know that truth hurts but learning the "truth is a lie" hurts more so they tell me like it is whether I like it or not. My real friends know that even if we go a while without speaking for whatever reason, when we do talk it will be like no time has passed at all! The list goes on! I LOVE MY FRIENDS DOE !!!!
People sit back & think... Who are my real friends? Why? What have we been through? What have we overcome? I mean really think? And check their recent "snaketivity resume". If they been snaking more than they've been loyal. Enough said.
I CALL THIS ONE FRIENEMIES !
We go back like waking up early to cop JOs/Matter fact we been hanging hard since play dough/I tell you everything aint see you since May doe/But you always there when I call my n*gga so faithful/But I meant to ask you bout what I heard/How ever since I been doing my thing I been acting like a bird/That's crazy like you gotta hella nerve/Supposed to support my success but you hating, and that hurts/Remember I used to spot you bread when need be/Introduced you to change took your life off repeat/Cause if I had it then you had it too/Guess you were highly intimidated my life's latitude/But snakes change skin started with your attitude/I know you reading this thinking that I'm mad at you/But I'm doing too good to bad u can't say the same/I'm content doe knowing I aint the one to blame....

Where Have I Been ??

Wassup everyone!! I'm here bored as the days are long. I don't even know why I am up right now honestly because I have a long day ahead. I have 10am conference call. Then I have to go to the post office to get a refund for this money order! Ughh let me tell yall what happened mannnnn! I mailed a payment to my school to pay off my tuition and of course they "didn't receive it". So, now I have to go to the post office and get a refund and go there personally and make the payment! Tuhhhh ! Then, I have a Dr. appt in SoHo followed by a potential studio session uptown in the BX! Okay enough about that!!

Ladies and Gentlemen have you ever dated someone that you gave your all to? Gave to the point where you lost your love for yourself in the mids? You begin to make that person's happiness a priority & put yours on the back burner? This is where we get it (pardon me) but FUCKED UP ! If at any point you feel that you are losing your mind ... losing yourself ... because of someone else, you need to reevaluate the situation you are in! PERIOD! I've been there a few times and now I go by the motto "Focus 1st on my NEEDS & 2nd on my WANTS" ! A lot of times people get the two confused. We begin to feel as though we "need" someone, need their love, need to hear their voice, need their kisses & hugs, need their love? But is this "love" really that? Something to definitely think about! Letting go is a process but people when it comes to a point where letting go feels easier than holding on, it's because that rope that you were holding onto is now as thin as string. Let go of that want and onto your NEEDS and what you DESERVE!! :)

You begin to make that person's happiness a priority & put yours on the back burner? This is where we get it (pardon me) but FUCKED UP ! If at any point you feel that you are losing your mind ... losing yourself ... because of someone else, you need to reevaluate the situation you are in! PERIOD! I've been there a few times and now I go by the motto "Focus 1st on my NEEDS & 2nd on my WANTS" ! A lot of times people get the two confused. We begin to feel as though we "need" someone, need their love, need to hear their voice, need their kisses & hugs, need their love? But is this "love" really that? Something to definitely think about! Letting go is a process but people when it comes to a point where letting go feels easier than holding on, it's because that rope that you were holding onto is now as thin as string. Let go of that want and onto your NEEDS and what you DESERVE!! :)
& I'm back on this 2 train/ to the place I said I'd never let my heart beat again/ be again! & we could never get along/ wish I never woulda listened to that replacement song/ & um.. I need to just grow up/ & all the love I have for u I need to just throw up/ cuz u won't even remember me when dat ass blow up/ ull be leavin with that last girl when I was first to show up/ & I'm steady breaking down/but its almost like I can't breathe when u aint around/ all my friends be mad at me saying u a clown/but ur love it be the greatest weed I smoke it by the pound/ ughh u don't know what u do to me/ sometimes I think u do this shit just to fuckin ruin me/ Baby why the hell can't u just be true to me/ I proved my loyalty overcame all ya cruelty/ & I just wanna cry now suckin up my tears/ cuz I can't believe I dealt w/ u bout to be 2 years/ to me I call it love but to u its just "there"/falling so hard I just faced my biggest fear/ but time aint enuff & I love yous just words/ I guess ill believe in u when u curve all them birds/ no more appetizers dinner is served/ Gabbichka's on the platter & u satisfied with her/ & I wake up out my dream world/ thinking the day would come when I'd be ya dream girl...
